ANCIENT CROSS IS ALIVE AND WELL

 June 21, 2006 ~ Ancient Cross is doing well. The band will be taking some time off though this Summer as it prepares for the over due release of the cd. After much consideration the band will be releasing the cd themselves and need some time to get their resources together. Ancient Cross thanks Barbarian Wrath for their generous offer to release Ancient Cross throughout Germany.

June 18th ~ Michael Lance will be fronting for REVEREND  and touring up the west/midwest making their way to the Evergreen Festival in Washington State while Ancient Cross takes some time off. Also Miguel Morales will be taking some time to pursue a Van Halen Tribute band this summer. The band members all agree.

 "It's a great time to go on a much needed vacation with our family or pursue other projects until the release of the cd. We'll be writing new material meanwhile and you can be sure to catch us Fall 2006 supporting our debut release due out in 2007."

ANCIENT CROSS CHOSEN TO BE INCLUDED ON METAL CRUSADE COMPILATION

Ancient Cross were chosen to be included on Germany's #1 Metal Magazine's Metal Crusade XII Compilation CD in stores June 2006. The  compilation cd will be included in the copy of the magazine and will have 30,000 prints distributed through out Europe. The band who was featured in March 2006 issue of "Heavy" has been getting some great reviews and will have another write up with with new photos in the issue. The song to be included on Metal Crusade XII will be "The Queen Is Dead".

 Rock For A Cure! Texas Metal Health IV

 We would like to start out by thanking all who came out May 13th! You were a great crowd to play for. It was an amazing evening with five bands coming together to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Mr. Lewis and his son Derek attended the show for whom the benefit was started over 4 years ago. It was good to hear the young man is now in remission. Back In The Studio

 Ancient Cross was back in the studio this spring to wrap up their debut cd. The band reentered Monster Music Studios in March to record Gates Of Hell, Candle Fades and Breakdown to be included on the self-titled debut cd. Michael will be back in the studio in the next few weeks to wrap up some vocal tracks then it's final mix and mastering next. The release will include eight original tracks and is to be hopefully be released by early 2007. The cd was originally scheduled for a 2006 release but due to some new developments, release date was pushed back.
